  Not too bad, for staying on the island I guess. Overall minimally appointed room. Very basic, but clean, bathroom. Ice machine in lobby, and plastic cups in room. AC cover was laying on floor in room, but functioning. Best part was the hot tub, weather was perfect (cool) and tub is very large, pretty clean, and has a waterfall/shoulder massage feature. Would have been 1-2 stars most other places, but on the island not bad.

  My wife and I tried the Murray Hotel Breakfast Buffet. $9 for all you can eat. Consisted of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and 2 types of potatoes. Food was acceptable nothing to write home about. The attendant was very nice. Far and away the best item was the home made donuts. Particularly the maple glazed donut. Best donut I've ever had. All in all a better deal than the pancake joint across the street.

  My boyfriend and I actually stayed at the hotel in mid July and just now got around to writing the review. My boyfriend and I decided that this hotel had the best package for what we were wanting to do on the island. The price was reasonable compared to the other hotels.
  Our stay at the hotel was wonderful. The room was very small but we didn't mind since we didn't spend much time in the hotel anyway and it added to the charm of the room. The window looked right out into the deck with the hot tub. We loved the hot top on the roof; we found that the best time to go was right when we woke up or during lunch when no one else was around. The hotel was quaint and old fashioned which made for a great overall experience. Oh! We also came back each night to find that the house keeping left us cookies which was very nice to come back to.
  After our fudge tasting we did in the room we found that the Murray also had the best fudge on the island. I really recommend the Bailey's Irish cream fudge.
